In the productive, educational, or research and development sectors, Comprehensive Laboratory Management plays a vital role, as it is responsible for verifying and ensuring product quality, guaranteeing reliable results, and safeguarding public health.

As a national academic leader, ESPOL has consistently demonstrated strong capabilities in training qualified personnel, offering innovative academic programs, and operating modern accredited laboratories. In this context, and as part of its contribution to the scientific and technological development of professionals with high academic standards, ESPOL takes on the challenge of launching the Master’s Degree in Comprehensive Management of Chemistry Laboratories.

This program is designed to enhance the competencies of professionals in the field, with an emphasis on administrative management of resources and risk, and to provide solid knowledge in method design and validation. It also includes hands-on experience with modern instrumental equipment, enabling graduates to propose effective management strategies within a framework of sustainability and efficiency.

APPLICANT PROFILE

This program is intended for professionals with a background in chemical sciences, chemical engineering, food engineering, or related fields in the natural sciences, whose professional profile is linked to work in testing laboratories.

GRADUATE PROFILE

Graduates will be equipped to manage resources and risks, operate modern instrumental equipment for the qualitative and/or quantitative determination of analytes, design and validate chemical analysis methods, audit and accredit laboratories, and propose development strategies for laboratories in both the public and private sectors. They will also be qualified to hold executive positions or work as independent consultants.

  • Manage analysis laboratories taking into account administrative, human and security management for optimal operation.
  • Manage chemical analysis instruments for the qualitative and/or quantitative determination of an analyte in a reliable manner.
  • Understand results of instrumental chemical analysis for the issuance of reports correctly.
  • Validate test methods to obtain reliable results.
  • Make appropriate decisions for the solution of problems inherent to the integral management of laboratories and / or the methods for the treatment and analysis of samples.
