OVERVIEW

The Master's in Geomatics at the Escuela Superior Politécnica del Litoral (ESPOL) offers solid training and cutting-edge skills in the geospatial field, addressing the growing demand for highly qualified professionals in this area. The program lasts one and a half years and is structured into three semesters, including 9 advanced disciplinary courses, 1 research course, and 2 graduation courses. This master's program is offered in a hybrid mode and grants 30 academic credits. The Master's program in Geomatics combines theoretical and practical content, where technical skills in remote sensing and geographic information are developed. You will learn data management and analysis through analytical and quantitative courses in GIS, photogrammetry, satellite image processing, geomatics applied to geosciences, integrated landscape management, and Geo-Web programming. This will enable you to turn geoinformation into useful knowledge, with which patterns can be identified and the behavior of a study area can be tracked over time, applicable to a variety of labor sectors.

Curriculum

  • For Ecuadorian applicants, an updated ID card. For foreign applicants, a valid ID or passport issued by their country of residence.
