WHY CHOOSE THIS PROGRAM?

  • Formulate and evaluate innovative engineering solutions to problems of national and regional interest about water management, based on the application of the scientific research cycle.
  • Advise in a technical-scientific means about the integrated management of water resources to entities of the government sector both locally and nationally.
  • Develop an effective collection, organization, and analysis of data from different sources, with a critical evaluation criterion, by identifying the needs and means for obtaining new information, which allows the formulation and application of cost-effective engineering solutions.
  • Apply modelling tools to support the decision-making process in watershed planning and management; by analysing their results, determining their strengths and validity, and generating recommendations for the treatment of local aspects.
  • Develop supervised research in the different areas of engineering in support of integrated water resources management in an ethical, social and intercultural framework of network cooperation that promotes the generation of scientific publications
  • Apply the collecting tools, processing, modeling data using Information Technology in water resources management, by collaborative work and networking with local and foreign research groups.
