OVERVIEW

The audiovisual industry requires a diverse range of professionals, from creative artists to specialized technicians. It encompasses various fields, including sound, image, editing, animation, and color. Additionally, it needs strategists to optimize logistics and workflows, ensuring efficient processes that achieve aesthetic and emotional impact.

Mission: To cooperate with society, forming creative and innovative professional leaders, with research capacity and critical thinking, who propose solutions in audiovisual communication through advanced tools and techniques of digital postproduction, becoming a national and international benchmark in teaching advanced audiovisual postproduction tools, as a key factor for developing innovative solutions.

Vision: To be a national and international reference in teaching advanced audiovisual postproduction techniques and tools, as a key factor for developing innovative solutions.

 Competencies:

  • Technical-artistic principles in audiovisual editing: Adapt audiovisual material by applying technological, narrative, and aesthetic principles, including the use of time as an expressive resource in editing.
  • Tools and procedures in audiovisual post-production: Apply concepts, tools, techniques, and procedures of digital post-production for experimentation in projects within the field, including knowledge of software programs and audiovisual technologies.
  • Audiovisual content creation: Create audiovisual projects focused on the functional, historical, aesthetic, and theoretical knowledge of film and video.

APPLICANT PROFILE

Master's candidates must have an Ecuadorian third-level university degree, equivalent to a bachelor's degree, or engineering, in areas related to audiovisual communication, fine arts, design, or multimedia engineering, social communication, advertising, and other related careers. If it's about a professional graduate abroad, they must qualify equivalent to a bachelor's degree. This postgraduate degree does not require extensive experience in all fields of audiovisual postproduction.

GRADUATE PROFILE

Our graduates will be able to: create digital effects on video (VFX); design and animate 3D compositions; analyze 3D animation techniques; mix and master audio; create audiovisual graphics applied to film, television, digital media, and visual events; identify the technology that interferes with editing processes and film, television, and digital media postproduction; and generally, develop audiovisual projects. These are just a few of the theoretical and practical skills our graduates will possess after completing the curriculum in audiovisual digital postproduction.

*Live Classes: Join live sessions with experts in post-production worldwide. You will learn from instructors who are recognized in editing, VFX, color correction, and sound design. Gain practical skills using tools like DaVinci Resolve, After Effects, Premiere Pro, and 3D Studio Max.

 

*Job Opportunities: Our program prepares you for roles in film, television, advertising, digital platforms, and video games. You can aim for jobs such as VFX supervisor, senior editor, colorist, sound technician, or audiovisual project coordinator.

 

*Develop Important Skills: You will build advanced skills in visual storytelling, nonlinear editing, digital compositing, 3D animation, post-production asset management, and automation with artificial intelligence.

 

*Hands-On Experience: Work on real projects and use new technologies such as real-time rendering and cloud-based post-production with Frame.io. Learn to create content in 4K/8K resolution and immersive formats like VR and 360°.

 

*Leadership in multidisciplinary teams: Learn how to manage post-production teams, improve efficiency, and coordinate processes.
