APPLICANT PROFILE
The study program is aimed at national or foreign professionals with a third-level degree duly registered at the National Secretariat of Higher Education, Science, Technology and Innovation (SENESCYT), with preparation/experience in Civil Engineering, Geology, Mining, Petroleum or careers related to Earth Sciences. Graduates in other types of engineering must prove related professional or research experience.
GRADUATE PROFILE
Upon completion of the curriculum, the master's degree student will be able to:
- Apply their research skills in the field of Earth Sciences for the development of solutions to society's problems jointly with diverse interest groups.
- Analyze with a socio-critical sense, global engineering problems for the construction of proposals and solutions that contribute to the technological improvement of the local environment.
- Apply their knowledge and skills in a wide variety of geological and geophysical situations, mining, oil and gas exploitation, environment, design of civil structures and must be able to contribute to the advancement of knowledge in their field through research and effective communication of their findings.
