OVERVIEW

The program aims to train professionals in the area of Plant Health for the execution of production processes with a sustainable approach to biotic and abiotic plant problems through the application of cutting-edge technological tools.

To provide basic and applied tools, techniques, and methodologies for the detection and sustainable management of pests and diseases in agricultural production and to impart knowledge based on the study of cases of phytosanitary problems in crops of national and regional importance.

Update knowledge in areas related to the diagnosis and comprehensive management of plant diseases and understand alternative management practices, conventional and organic, for the phytosanitary control of important crops.

APPLICANT PROFILE

Professionals with a third-level degree may apply, preferably in agronomy, agriculture, agriculture, biology or biotechnology. In the case of professionals who do not fit the entry profile, they must prove professional experience of at least one year in agriculture or biology.

GRADUATE PROFILE

The graduate of this master's degree will be able to understand the dynamics of the problems in crops for their correct control and management. To analyze with a scientific base the methodologies for diagnosing and managing the limiting factors of production, proposing strategies for their effective exploitation. Create effective management programs for the control of phytosanitary problems in the different crops in Ecuador.
