APPLICANT PROFILE

Professionals with a third-level degree may apply, preferably in agricultural, agronomic, civil, or mechanical engineering. Those who do not fit the entry profile must prove professional experience related to the program.

GRADUATE PROFILE

Graduates of the Master's Degree in Technical Irrigation and Fertigation will be able to:

To design, execute, and evaluate sustainable irrigation and drainage projects.
To apply design techniques of irrigation and fertigation through specialized software for the planning and executing water resources.
To apply technological solutions in irrigation systems such as sprinklers, drip, and micro-sprinklers to economically optimize business investments and small and medium-sized producers.

To manage irrigation facilities for adequate use of water resources while considering climate change.

Requirements

For Ecuadorian applicants, an updated ID card. For foreign applicants, a valid ID or passport issued by their country of residence.
For Ecuadorian applicants, an updated voter registration certificate.
For applicants who obtained their third-level degree in Ecuador, it must be properly registered with SENESCYT. For applicants who obtained their third-level degree abroad, it must be properly registered with SENESCYT (https://siau.senescyt.gob.ec) or have a certified or legalized copy with consular approval.
Copy of the academic or professional record of the last degree obtained.
Curriculum vitae.
Copy of an academic or professional recommendation.
Motivation letter (Explain your reasons for applying).

Resultados del Programa

1.- Analyze the movement of water in the soil for the selection of the irrigation and drainage system.
2.- Determine irrigation and drainage methods for planning the water surface and times of irrigation in agricultural systems.
3.- Design the components of the irrigation and drainage systems for the dimensioning of the hydraulic infrastructure.
