OVERVIEW

This program is centered on Transmedia Branding and aims to train experts in crafting expansive narratives across various platforms and channels.

The primary objective is to bridge the digital divide by leveraging knowledge of new media and developing strategies that take into account the evolving behaviors of contemporary audiences.

The program underscores the importance of the audience as the focal point of communication, advocating that storytelling should not merely replicate content but rather disseminate the narrative in a way that allows each medium to contribute unique elements. This approach to storytelling is essential in today's landscape of mobile and nomadic consumption, ensuring that the product is accessible to the audience anytime, anywhere, and in whatever format they prefer.

Competencies: 

  • Development of Strategies in Media Ecology, Audiences, and Trends: Formulate strategies that integrate user behavior theories in hybrid environments to enhance brand impact across diverse and dynamic contexts while analyzing and applying current and emerging trends in audience behavior.
  • Transmedia Message and Experience Design: Create compelling visual and/or audiovisual narratives that effectively reach a variety of digital and analog platforms, fostering strong emotional connections and reinforcing brand identity and presence.
  • Multiplatform Management: Develop transmedia brand management strategies that seamlessly integrate multiple platforms and audiences, optimizing interaction and engagement with the brand through consistent and enriching experiences.

APPLICANT PROFILE

The program is designed for professionals with a third-level degree, ideally in Art, Design, and Digital Communication. Those from other fields must have at least one year of professional experience in audiovisual techniques and the management of digital communities.

GRADUATE PROFILE

Graduates with a master's degree in Branding Transmedia Communication can easily spot strategic areas that enhance competitive advantages in targeted markets. They understand the necessary legal rules that apply. They design, strengthen, and manage brands using thoughtful assessments. They are skilled at creating and evaluating strategies that build strong connections between brands and consumers. They also know how to develop brands that can be patented, boosting national competitiveness and supporting creative industries. Their work emphasizes research and sustainable social innovation.

The 32-hour modules: 

Monday to Thursday, 18:00 to 21:30 

(3 weeks of live online classes)

 

The 48-hour modules: 

Tuesday to Friday, 18:00 to 21:00 

Saturdays, 9:00 AM to 13:00

(3 weeks of live online classes).

  • Design transmedia brand management strategies for multitargets.
  • Develop transmedia narratives as part of brand strategies using the theoretical foundations of user behavior in digital environments.
  • Analyze the importance of creating a story to promote a brand and that it is divided into different digital and analog platforms.
  • Develop of brand strategy in hybrid environments in order to create bonds between the users and the products or causes that are promoted in transmedia branding campaigns.
