APPLICANT PROFILE
The master's program is aimed at professionals who have graduated from the fields of Biology, Biochemistry, Biophysics, Biopharmaceuticals, Biomedicine, Genetics, Biodiversity, Neurosciences, Environment, Renewable Natural Resources, Chemistry, Earth Sciences, Oceanography, Physics, Mathematics and Statistics. In the case of students with degrees that do not fit the admission profile, they must prove professional experience in the aforementioned field, in addition to demonstrating their inclination towards research. Since the master's degree is taught in English, students must have a certificate of English proficiency (minimum B1).
The graduate program in Marine Sciences is open to a maximum of 20 students, Ecuadorian or international. The minimum number of students enrolled to be able to start activities is 7 students. Application to the program does not guarantee admission due to the limited capacity of places and high eligibility.

GRADUATE PROFILE
Graduates from the Master's Degree in Marine Sciences from ESPOL have the skills for research purposes, to improve the scientific heritage, and use knowledge for the sustainable management of oceanic and coastal marine ecosystems.
